Jersey Festival: Reds 2 v Jersey White 3
We woke up on the last day of our amazing trip to jersey; we then followed up by having a delicious breakfast for the last time.
Match
As soon as the first whistle went, we put all of the effort we had into this game with also having not great conditions, it was pouring down in rain and the pitch was water logged.
We then unluckily conceded a great shot from outside the box. At half time the boys had a deep talk about the next half, which worked because 5 minutes in to the next half we scored with Alfie smashing the ball into the bottom left corner with his left foot.
Next goal was from a brilliant tap in to the bottom left corner. We then again unluckily conceded another 2 goals by the other team.
Reuben then had a shot on goal but by the time that happened the goalkeeper two-footed Reuben inside the box but the referee so should’ve put us in for a pen which he didn’t and still this day Reuben is still injured in his foot.
Lunch and Afternoon
Lunch was good as always, but in the afternoon we went into town and spent the rest of our money. Me, Reuben and Charlie combined some of our money (ten pounds each) and got some Pokémon packs then I got a hat and Charlie and Rueben got something from the café. Charlie and Seb got a football each and three pairs of socks each.
The evening Dinner was nice. Fish and chips tonight. Harry from the Blues and Charlie from the Reds went up to collect our certificates. At the end of Dinner we all went to shake hands with Pat – the man who has organised this tournament for 47 years. – wow!
We had another great day.
