12th Annual Race Night fundraiser
This is our major fundraising event of the year, the proceeds of which help fund the district team activities. Please support us in providing opportunities for players within the district.
The event will be held on:
Saturday 26th March 2022. First race starts at 7:45pm.
The venue for the race night is at:
Orpington Village Hall,
311 High Street,
Orpington, BR6 0NN.
We need to sell 64 horses. Each horse costs £10; with the winning owners receiving cash and a bottle of bubbly.
Betting on each race with a stake of 50p per tote ticket. Before the start of the race we can calculate the odds of what each horse will win per ticket held.
The evening is suitable for ALL the family. Admission is FREE but entry is by ticket only. Please ask friends, neighbours, work colleagues, etc. for support, and complete the slip below.
We need also 8 sponsors for the 8 races, (in each race there will be 8 horses or greyhounds). Each sponsor will pay £30 minimum and a race will be named after them (individual, group or company) and published in the programme.
