Reds report
After a long morning, we joyfully strolled though the mind-blowing Jersey zoo, which had eye-eye, that you go in a mysterious room that is pitch black and spot them in the dark. The reason we went in the dark is because the animals are nocturnal, so we wouldn’t want to disturb them. Lastly, the fruit bats were really really entertaining by pooing on there own food bowl.
Saving the best till last, the game against Potters Bar was full of character. Entering the pitch, we began sloppy as passes were going wrong and communication was nowhere to be found. After a blink of an eye, 1-0 to the opponents, then we began to play probably as it was 1-1. However, before we knew it; it was 1-1 at half time .
After a few minutes, Potters Bar were on the counter attack immediately and with a few threatening attacks Potters bar scored a fantastic goal followed by 2 more which lead us trailing 4-1 with 8 minutes to go and the team still kept hope and carried on attacking. With 2 perfect crosses by Jonny (Editor: Sonny?), Joe scored 2 fantastic headers. In the last 30 seconds Alex won a penalty which lead the Potters Bar mangers furious. Alfie despatched the ball bottom left corner with the last kick of the game which the final score 4-4.
